Duties

  • Use hand tools and power tools to plant, prune, weed, mow, and maintain gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas

  • Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mulching, edging, fertilizing, and aerating soil
  • Monitor plant health and growth, identifying pests or diseases early to implement effective treatments
  • Assist with groundskeeping activities including debris removal, pathway clearing, and seasonal cleanups
  • Support sustainable gardening practices by composting organic waste and applying eco-friendly fertilizers
  • Collaborate with team members to plan new planting schemes or landscape enhancements that align with project goals

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong growing background
  • Proficiency in using hand tools (e.g., pruners, shovels) and power tools (e.g., trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively
  • Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques
  • Familiarity with groundskeeping practices such as lawn care, planting, pruning, and soil management
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for active tasks
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces
  • Prior experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is highly valued
