We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Estate Gardener to assist with the care and presentation of a private estate for a high-net-worth family.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes genuine pride in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The role would suit either an experienced gardener or a recent graduate in Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field who is looking to begin their career within a professional private estate environment.

Working as part of a small team, you will help maintain the gardens and grounds to a consistently high standard throughout the seasons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day maintenance of gardens and estate grounds
  • Lawn care including mowing, edging, and strimming
  • Hedge cutting, pruning, and seasonal plant care
  • Maintaining borders, beds, and planting areas
  • Planting shrubs, flowers, and seasonal displays
  • Operating and maintaining garden machinery and tools
  • Assisting with general estate presentation and tidiness
  • Occasional hard landscaping tasks when required

Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of plants, shrubs, and trees
  • Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience preferred
  • Qualifications or study in Agronomy, Horticulture, or similar disciplines welcomed
  • Experience using 2-stroke gardening machinery such as strimmers and hedge cutters
  • Experience with ride-on or pedestrian mowers beneficial
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
