Full job description

Our forever growing family landscaping business is looking for Multi skilled hard landscape gardening team leader to join the team, to look after the ground works ongoing throughout the year. Ranging from hospital contracts, schools, commercial ground and domestic gardens. The successfull candiadate will mainly be responsible for all outdoor maintenance, including landscape design, building planters etc and the up keep of all outdoor spaces. All aspects of ground works, flagging, laying kerbs and tarmacking.

We also attend to reactive ground works, fixing posts, signage, pot holes etc. Other operations such as tree work, office/furniture moving, gritting and snow clearing (out of hours) would also be needed throughout the winter period if necessary.

The successful candidate will be a detail-orientated and hardworking individual who is committed to our companys mission, vision and values all year round. The candidate needs to have clean drivers licence (if not, offences need to be high lighted to us). Any qualification would be a bonus but not required as onsite training will be provided if need be.

Our hospitals are entered into competitions yearly so all of the grounds and gardens need to be at a high standard all year round.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 4/5pm & Saturdays 7am - 12noon overtime available

Pay: £13.50 - £16.00 dependant on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic and intermediate ground work duties such as flagging, laying kerbs, tarmacing, fencing, hard and soft landscaping, gutter repairs etc.
  • Keep records.
  • Looking after all of the company machinery, vehicles and tools.
  • Communicating with customers and staff members.
  • To have a good understanding in using basic tools.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 48 – 55 per week
