About us

Overbury Enterprises is a family partnership of rural businesses based on the southern slopes of Bredon Hill, on the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire border. The family recently celebrated it’s 300th year in Overbury and we are continually advancing in order to thrive into the future. There are nine core enterprises within the partnership including an environmentally focused farm, Grasshoppers Day Nursery, an 8 bed & bath luxury farmhouse holiday let, wildlife conservation, coworking space, property & lease administration for around 135 houses & cottages, a building team with joinery workshop, a garden team and forestry enterprise.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Grounds Person to support the Head Gardener and Garden Team in the day to day running of the gardens and grounds here at Overbury. The role would particularly suit someone with a passion for and experience with trees, including planting, felling and establishment.

The role will involve daily maintenance of green areas around Overbury as well some work in the gardens of some of our properties. The role will include the upkeep of the wider estate and working with other departments such as the forestry team. You will be responsible for landscaped areas such as car parks as well as verges, lawns, hedges and trees.

The position would suit someone with an dynamic and strong work ethic, coupled with experience of trees and the wider living environment. This role also requires a keen eye for detail and great observational skills. As well as the ability to work within a team, the successful candidate will need to able to work on their own.
