Full job description
Due to further expansion and obtaining a number of new contracts, we are now recruiting for experienced, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for gardening based in Cheshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates with amazing career prospects.
We are rapidly expanding again with a number of new contracts to be managed to the highest standard with quality being at the heart of everything we do.
General day to day duties on site will include:
- Mowing
- Strimming
- Pruning & hedge cutting
- Planting
- Hanging baskets
- Weed control
- Leaf clearance
- Litter picking
- Lawn care & fertiliser applications when required
In addition to your daily work tasks as a team leader you will be required to:
- Liaise directly with clients, using your initiative to enhance the outdoor spaces in accordance with the seasons
- To have day to day responsibility for your team and site quality
- Working to deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship and taking pride in your work
- A positive can do attitude - Leading your team members to success
- Have a wealth of knowledge within the landscaping industry
- Display a good understanding of plant knowledge
- Adherence to internal and external Health and Safety requirements ensuring your team are safe, and following these at all times
- Continually seeking ways to improve site quality, work ethics within the team to enhance what we do
- Conduct daily vehicle checks, weekly checks and monthly checks (first aid kit check, equipment maintenance check)
- Team development and sharing your knowledge with your operatives!
In addition to your day to day tasks, additional works will be carried out now and again to include:
- Turfing
- Seeding
- Mulching
- Fencing
- Planting
- Pressure Washing
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in similar role
- Full UK Driving Licence (Required)
- United Kingdom
- PA1 & PA6a
- Level 2 Diploma in Horticulture or above
- Plant Knowledge
- Lawn Care Experience and a Sound Understanding of N.P.K
- Experience with using CRM software
- A sound understanding of Health and Safety
Advantageous qualifications:
- Trailer/towing licence
