Plant & Flower Shop Assistant

Part-Time | 3 Days Per Week

Location: Memento Belfast, Ormeau Road
Hours: 3 or 4 days per week, including weekend working hours

The Role

We're looking for someone friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely interested in plants to join our retail team.

This is very much a hands-on, customer-facing role, so if you enjoy meeting people, sharing what you know and taking pride in your surroundings, you'll fit right in.

You'll be helping customers choose flowers, plants and gifts, sharing plant care advice, looking after our houseplant collection and making sure the shop always looks its best.

You'll also get involved in our flower displays, stock deliveries, visual merchandising, workshops, customer enquiries and the general day-to-day running of the store.

And because we're Memento, we love people who bring ideas. Whether that's a new plant trend, a creative display or something we could be doing better, we want a team who take an interest in the business and enjoy being part of it.

Sound Like You?

Ideally, you'll have at least two years' experience in retail or another customer-facing role, be confident chatting to customers and comfortable using computers and retail systems.

A good knowledge of houseplants would be fantastic, but we're equally interested in someone who's genuinely passionate about learning.

We're looking for someone who's organised, has a good eye for detail, enjoys working with others and doesn't need to be asked twice when something needs doing.

Above all, we want someone who enjoys what we do and takes pride in doing it well.
