At Roseberry Care, we are looking for a reliable and caring Home Gardener to maintain the grounds of our care home, creating a safe, attractive, and therapeutic environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

Location: Springfield Care Home, Oakden Drive, Codsall, WV8 2EE
Salary: £12.21 Per Hour

Hours: 27.5 Per Week Monday- Friday

Your Role:

As a Home Gardener, You will be responsible for the general upkeep of gardens, lawns, flower beds, and pathways, ensuring they are tidy, accessible, and enjoyable throughout the year. This is a rewarding role for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the positive impact a well-kept garden can have on quality of life.

You’ll be responsible for:

· Plant, cultivate, prune, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns

· Weed, mulch, and fertilize garden beds and green spaces

· Operate and maintain gardening tools, mowers, and irrigation systems

· Trim hedges, edge lawns, and keep walkways and grounds tidy

· Assist in seasonal landscaping tasks (e.g., leaf removal, snow shoveling, planting bulbs)

· Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment

What We’re Looking For:

· Certification in horticulture or landscaping is a plus

· Proven experience as a gardener, landscaper, or groundskeeper

· Familiarity with gardening tools and machinery (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)

· Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

· Full UK driving licence (if travel between sites is required).
