Join a Growing Horticulture Company

Windowflowers is a long-established family business (since 1947) and one of the UK’s leading plant display companies. We create and maintain high-quality planted displays for businesses and local councils across London and the South East.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for Experienced Horticultural Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys outdoor work, practical tasks, and working with plants, with long-term career opportunities and training available.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining high-quality indoor and outdoor plant displays
  • Seasonal planting and replanting
  • Monitoring and treating plant pests and diseases
  • Installing and maintaining watering systems
  • Safely using ladders, horticultural tools, and power equipment
  • Representing the company professionally at customer sites
  • Maintaining company vehicles and equipment

Working Hours

  • Start 4–5am, finish around 2–3pm
  • Average 10 hours per day
  • Weekend work required during busy summer periods

What We Offer

  • £14.00 per hour starting pay
  • 5% attendance bonus (effective rate £14.70 per hour)
  • Guaranteed 40 hours during winter months
  • Saturday: Time and a Half
  • Sunday: Double Pay
  • All breaks paid
