Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Groundworker. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor landscapes through a variety of horticultural and construction tasks inclusing mast erection. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, applying mechanical knowledge and gardening expertise to deliver high-quality results. The position involves working with a range of tools and machinery, ensuring the upkeep of outdoor spaces in accordance with client specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilising to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
  • Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems.
  • Assist with construction projects related to landscaping, such as installing features or constructing garden structures.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Support gardening and horticultural tasks by planting, mulching, watering, and pest control.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Identify potential issues with irrigation systems or mechanical equipment and address them promptly.

Experience
