Position Overview

The purpose of this role is to provide exceptional customer service and a comprehensive gardening services to our customers. Gardeners’ responsibilities include grass cutting, edging, strimming, weeding, weed killing (spraying), pruning and shaping shrubs, removal and planting of shrubs and plants. You will have a minimum of 2 years and preferably 5 years or more experience in gardening or a similar role. Key Tasks

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience and preferable 5 years or more experience of all aspects of gardening.

· Grass cutting, edging and strimming, weeding, weed killing (spraying), pruning and shaping shrubs, removal and planting of shrubs and plants.

· Candidate must be able to work effectively in a team of two.

· Have and be able to demonstrate a passion for high quality of work and delivering work to a timescale.

· Candidate must be able to communicate and build a rapport with our customers in order to deliver exceptional Customer satisfaction.

· Candidate must have the ambition to deliver exceptional service and delivering the 'Rolls' Standard of excellence.

Personal Qualities

· Positive attitude.

· Honest, respectful and have integrity.

· Good time keeping and punctuality.

· Good written skills, for timesheets, van checks etc.

· Good digital skills for online training from a computer or device.

Qualifications and skills

· A qualification in gardening or horticulture would be advantageous.

· CSCS card is preferable.

· A Driving License is a prerequisite, experience with towing is advantageous.

Benefits and schedule

· On-site parking.

· Working hours Monday to Friday 7.00 to 16.30 with an hour for lunch/breaks.

· Location: sites in and around Dorset.

· Company vehicle provided for work but candidate must be able to get to our yard based in Charminster, Dorchester for 7am starts. We pay all travel time from our yard and fuel.

· Salary £12.00 to £15.00 per hour depending on skills, qualifications and experience.

· Bonus scheme based on performance based KPI.
