As a Landscaping Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our skilled team of landscapers in the construction and development of high-end gardens. You will be involved in a variety of physical tasks, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of projects. This role demands a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn and contribute to a team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Site Preparation: Clearing sites, digging trenches, leveling ground, and preparing areas for landscaping features.
• Material Handling: Loading, unloading, and transporting materials such as soil, gravel, paving stones, timber, and plants.
• Assisting Skilled Trades: Supporting landscapers, stonemasons, carpenters, and other tradespeople with various tasks.
• Construction Support: Mixing and pouring concrete, laying paving, building retaining walls, and assisting with the installation of water features and other garden elements.
• Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning, maintaining, and safely operating hand tools and power tools.
• Site Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and organized work site, ensuring the safe disposal of waste.
• Following Instructions: Adhering to instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
• Health and Safety: Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Planting and Soft Landscaping: Assisting with planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and preparing soil for planting.
• General Labour: Performing other general labour duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• Reliability and Punctuality: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to Learn: A willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
• Basic Tool Handling: Experience using hand tools and power tools is desirable.
• CSCS Card (Preferred): A Construction Skills Certification Scheme card is preferred but not essential.
• Driving Licence (Preferred): A valid driving licence is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.34-£15.00 per hour
