Are you ready for a new challenge and want to join a team of like-minded gardeners passionate about horticulture? If you've got sound gardening skills and the enthusiasm to learn more , this opportunity could be what you’re looking for.
We are GreenArt; setting the standard for creating, developing and caring for beautiful gardens for clients across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our aim is to provide them with a beautiful relaxing environment that improves the quality of their life as well as adding value to their property.
Our Landscape Gardeners work in teams of two and due to increasing demand, we’re looking to add another team. The role provides a full range of garden care and development services in some incredible gardens, to maintain them to the highest possible standard.
In particular you will:
· Undertake the full range of regular and one-off horticultural tasks including digging over beds and conditioning soil, weeding, pruning, splitting, hedge cutting, lawn mowing, seasonal care and generally keeping the garden looking and growing at its best.
· Identify and treat pests and diseases using organic and environmentally friendly methods wherever possible.
· Competently use a wide range of hand tools and garden machinery including ride-on mowers and specialist equipment, keeping within health & safety guidelines.
· Other duties as required and working closely with the rest of our team.
You will bring at least three years’ hands-on, practical experience in maintaining private gardens/estates, especially herbaceous borders, to a high standard all year round.
You can demonstrate great plant care and are able to identify and act on opportunities to enhance and develop your clients’ gardens. You’ll take real pride in ‘going the extra mile’ and taking the initiative to solve problems that increase our customers’ enjoyment of their gardens.
If your current role isn’t providing the permanance or scope you seek, then we can genuinely offer you a greater breadth of challenge and the opportunity to use your skills, adaptability and tenacity on some amazing client gardens. And you will benefit from the support and encouragement from a strong team around you.
If you’re interested and have the required skills and experiences then search for GreenArt, Wallingford to learn more about us, then send your CV and a concise covering letter to jo@greenart.co.uk We’re moving fast on this appointment so if you’ve got the right experience then we’ll get straight back to you, to arrange an initial interview.
