Job Overview

Duties

  • Assist with planting, pruning, watering, and mulching to promote healthy growth of plants and flowers
  • Lawn Mowing / Weeding / Strimming
  • Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes to perform routine gardening tasks efficiently
  • Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper water distribution
  • Use power tools like hedge trimmers and leaf blowers to manage landscape upkeep and debris removal
  • Support landscape maintenance activities including lawn mowing, edging, and weed control
  • Conduct groundskeeping duties such as litter removal, soil preparation, and garden bed maintenance
  • Follow safety procedures during all gardening activities to ensure a secure working environment.

Skills

  • Basic knowledge with hand tools and power tools used in gardening and landscaping tasks
  • A will to learn and gain knowledge of horticulture practices is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with garden maintenance
  • Strong interest in gardening, horticulture, and outdoor environment care
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina
