What will your day look like?

  • We currently have a vacancy for a Grounds Maintenance Operative, working across various contracted sites in Dartford, Erith and Gravesend.
  • Core working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with extra hours can be available.
  • You will carry out general grounds maintenance.
  • You will be proactive in helping assess for maintenance issues, health and safety.

What makes a successful Grounds Maintenance Caretaker?

  • You will show a keen interest in gardening, no trade qualifications are required but previous experience in a similar type role would be highly advantageous.
  • Must live in or around Dartford, Erith and Gravesendwhich is essential for pick up.
  • You will demonstrate good decision-making skills and common sense.
  • You will take pride in consistently providing a high standard of customer service as you will be acting as a Community Property Care representative when on site.
  • You will have experience of working to achieve agreed targets and completing them within an agreed time frame.
  • You will be a team player who ensures that all our estates and communal areas are clean, tidy and in a safe condition.
  • You must hold a current and full Driving Licence (essential as on occasions you will be required to use a Company van as a tool of the job).
