Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for horticulture and landscape maintenance, with hands-on experience in landscaping practices. This role involves the construction of gardens and their aftercare including general landscaping duties.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
  • Conduct regular maintenance of garden areas, including weeding, pruning, and mulching.
  • Planting of trees and other plants
  • The construction of lawn areas.
  • Maintaining and cutting grass areas with ride-on and pedestrian mowers.
  • Fence work and hard landscaping.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve overall landscaping goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred.
  • Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to gardening tasks.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
