Principle Duties

Job is based on a rolling 5 day week

To drive the employer and members of his family as directed (mainly to and from London)

To ensure that all vehicles under his control correspond to UK vehicle requirements including road fund licence, mot, parking permits and required maintenance (all vehicles garage maintained).

To ensure all vehicles are clean and presentable as required.

To perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by the employer or his family. This will involve handling petty cash and the appropriate accounting thereof.

To carry firearms to and from organised shoots as directed (shotgun licence will need to be applied for).

To perform various minor valet functions for the employer.

To wait at table as directed

To assist house staff and gardener as required during busy periods.

One or two days a week will be spent in the garden doing mowing of long and short grass.

Requirements

An ideal candidate will be smart, presentable and above all flexible in approach.

An experienced driver with a full and clean driving licence is a must.

Ideally a non smoker.

Preference will be given to individuals experienced in house duties but is not essential.

Rent free accommodation will be made available to the right applicant.
