Job Summary
Gardener Required
We are looking for a person to help maintain a large private garden under the direction of the head gardener. The main part of this role is to help maintain the gardens/grounds to high standards,
tasks will include cutting grass both ride on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, leaf blowing, hedge cutting, weeding, watering, dead heading and other duties to keep the garden and surrounding areas clean and tidy. You will need experience in using garden machinery and working in a large private garden would be a bonus for the applicant. Chainsaw certificates would be an advantage. Other tasks will include assisting in pruning, planting, vegetable and cut flower production, while some experience in these areas would be an advantage it is not essential as training will be given to the right candidate and will therefore develop your horticulture skills. We require someone who is trustworthy, hardworking and will need to be physically fit and happy to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The applicant should be self-motivated and happy to work on their own. Salary dependent on experience.
