We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of garden maintenance and landscape management, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role involves nurturing plants, maintaining landscapes, and ensuring the overall health and aesthetics of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain various types of gardens, ensuring optimal growth and health of plants.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively for planting, pruning, weeding, and general garden upkeep.
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and landscapes.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and mulching.
• Assist in the design and layout of new garden areas or improvements to existing landscapes.
• Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases that may affect growth.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tools and equipment used in gardening activities.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve landscaping goals efficiently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening tasks.
• Knowledge of plant care, including growing requirements for various species.
• Ability to irrigate effectively, ensuring plants receive adequate water supply.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous for travelling between job sites.

Pay: £24,000.00-£24,191.00 per year
