We are now in our 4th location in Ely having moved due to out growing existing sites. We sell premium product lines in all areas of business activities. Within the Ely complex there is a large modern retail store offering a wide range of goods and services including a Garden Machinery and Horticultural Equipment Centre, supplying and servicing a wide range of both domestic and professional equipment. The Showroom offers a quality range of top brands of lawncare, garden machinery and horticultural equipment as well as country clothing, footwear, tools and DIY accessories, to name just a few. Pecks continues to run a steel store as a nod to our roots. The store is open 6 days a week.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the department manager, you will be responsible for selling lawnmowers and garden machinery in the showroom. Some demonstrations, deliveries and installations will be required at customer premises.

Delivering excellent customer service, you will maintain good product knowledge on features and benefits.

You will manage deal profitability and stock holding of new and used stock.

You will also provide support with parts and service enquiries where needed.

Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the store and that robust systems are in place to protect the business.

What will you need?

Proven experience as a sales person and knowledge of garden machinery. Excellent people skills and enjoy working with the general public and business customers.

A valid UK Driving licence.

Hours

Rota working Monday to Friday 8.00 – 17.30 (1 hour lunch).

Alternate Saturdays 8.00 – 17.00 (1 hour lunch).
