Welcome to West Midlands Summerhouses

We're an expanding family business, who are looking for a fitter to join our team and stay with us like the rest of our staff, for many years, job security is very important and if thats what you are looking for look no further.

We manufacture bespoke high end garden buildings, est 1993 and we looking for a person with experience in woodwork, preferably within our industry to fit them, must have a licence, be physically fit and strong to competently cope with the job.

The garden buildings are erected in the workshop by the manufacturing staff everyday, you will be on site most days fitting, at your arrival back at the workshop, you and your team will load up ready for the morning, then go again on site, then repeat daily, working nationwide. On site some heavy lifting can be required when carrying sections to site, but you are part of a team and will not be alone.

If you enjoy outdoor work, seeing the different areas of the country, meeting new people this job could be for you, if you enjoy hard work with plenty of banter this job is also for you! if you dislike waking up early a few days per week unfortunately this job is not for you.

A Successful Applicant To Be Considered Needs :

A full clean driving licence - preferably with years held

Experience with power tools

Experience with timber and simple joinery

A keen eye for detail

A polite manner with customers

A good sense of time keeping

A team player who is flexible
