Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture but also the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Duties

• Maintain various types of plants, flowers, and shrubs in our plant area so they are of high quality to sell.
• Perform regular garden maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, mulching, and watering.
• Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Communicate with customers to ensure they have an enjoyable experience and provide information to them regarding plant queries.
• Sell gardening products or services as required, providing knowledgeable advice to customers.
• Maintain an organised inventory of gardening supplies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for gardening and an understanding of plant care practices.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions.
