Assistant Gardener desired for a 12 acre private property consisting of formal and kitchen gardens and orchard.

You will be competent in driving and using machinery i.e Hayter gang mower, forklift, tractor, willing to undertake manual tasks and assisting the Head Gardener with planting flowers, hedge laying, vegetable gardening, greenhouse work, turf maintenance and pruning. maintaining the aesthetic standard of the site reflecting its status as a much cared-for family home and prestigious garden.

On the job training and tutoring available for the successful candidate.

Working hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional extra hours as and when required to assist garden party setup, events management and an annual large-scale corporate event.
