Full job description
Habitat First Group owns three luxury estates, creating holiday home communities that are founded on the principle of a deep love for Mother Nature and sustainability.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Grounds Apprentice at Lower Mill Estate. As a Grounds Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team members, gaining experience in all aspects of grounds maintenance, landscaping and horticulture.
This role will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, working 7.30am - 4.30pm. There will be a requirement to attend college one day per week as dictated by Wiltshire College and University Centre at Lackham.

What you'll be doing:
- Weeding, digging, hedge-cutting and the felling of small trees
- Using hand tools and basic light machinery, such as mowers, strimmers and leaf-blowers
- Using estate vehicles including ATVs and RTVs
- Keeping all areas of the Estate clear and free from litter at all times
- Working in line with the Ecology Plan
We'd love you to have:
- A keen interest in horticulture and plant species
- Previous gardening experience
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, guests and homeowners
- A valid UK driving license
