A bit about us:-

We are currently seeking full or part time a skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds to an extremely high standard across sites within the Yorkshire regions

We operate from Dewsbury but have transport from Wakefield each morning to the unit where the vans leave and return

As a dedicated gardener, your role will encompass a variety of essential tasks to ensure the beauty and health of outdoor spaces.

What you can expect to be doing:-

-Mowing lawns meticulously to maintain a neat and well-trimmed appearance that enhances the overall landscape.

- Skillfully trimming hedges to create clean lines and shapes that contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the property.

- Using a strimmer with precision to trim grass and weeds in hard-to-reach areas, achieving a polished and manicured look.

- Providing general labor support in various gardening activities, such as planting, watering, mulching, and overall garden upkeep.

- Performing lawn edging tasks to define borders, create clear delineations, and showcase the lush greenery of the lawn.

-In winter, Leaf clearance and winter cut backs

what we need from you:-

-Fantastic attitude, we have an amazing team with very low turnover of people so need some one who will fit in, enjoy working outside in all weathers, in all seasons

- Previous experience in groundskeeping or a related field is desirable, hit the ground running and be a great team member will get you a long way

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for maintenance work, we will go through everything anyway but knowing the tools of the trade would be helpful

- Knowledge of plant care and gardening techniques.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the grounds are well-maintained and you have a great time whilst working with us

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
