Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Garden Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in groundskeeping and garden maintenance, with hands-on experience using both power and hand tools. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our outdoor spaces, ensuring that gardens and landscapes are well maintained and thriving.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on gardens and landscaped areas, ensuring they are kept in excellent condition.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Conduct groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming, and weeding.
- Assist in the planting and growing of new plants, flowers, and trees as part of landscape enhancement projects.
- Monitor the condition of outdoor facilities and report any issues that require attention or repair.
- Manage and collaborate with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Experience
Must have full driving license as will be given own van.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with the use of both power tools (e.g., lawnmowers, hedge trimmers) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, pruners).
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and techniques for effective garden care is advantageous.
- A passion for gardening and an understanding of plant care will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
