The Lawnmower Company is looking to appoint an experienced grounds maintenance supervisor to manage a grounds maintenance team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for health & safety, maintaining high standards of workmanship, making sure all equipment is maintained and identifying areas of work on our customers sites across the North of England.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of groundskeepers and ensure they perform their tasks effectively and efficiently
• Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
• Conduct regular inspections of the grounds and identify areas that require attention
• Respond to requests from management
• Ensure that safety procedures are followed by all team members

Requirements:

• An in depth knowledge of landscaping.
• PA1 and PA6 - Required
• Ability to operate and maintain a variety of Grounds maintenance equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
• 3 years experience in a team leader/supervisor capacity
• Full UK driving licence – Required

HOURS : Monday – Friday 8.00am – 17.00 pm / overtime as and when required / hours may vary during high and low season

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
