Assistant Gardener – Reporting to Head Gardener

To assist the head gardener in raising and maintaining the standards of presentation for the gardens in unique and private clients and properties throughout Kent, London & Essex

A minimum of 2 years’ experience required; however full training will be given in the job.

40 hours per week plus drive time to and from each location.

You will be working under supervision of either Horticultural Director or Head Gardener, who you have to report

to.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Use of small garden machinery and compact tractor for variety of garden maintenance tasks to include mowing, strimming and hedge trimming.

· Use of hand tools for variety of garden maintenance tasks to include digging, planting, weeding, and pruning.

· Day to day maintenance tasks such as litter clearance, emptying litter bins, leaf sweeping.

No formal qualifications require, but practical experience and ability in range of horticultural tasks is essential.

We are looking for a self-motivated and focused team member, who is dedicated to excellent visitor care and shares enthusiasm for gardening keen to work in wariest weather conditions.

Due to the rural location, we require candidates to own a vehicle and have valid Driving Licence.
