Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative who will work as part of our team in and around Pontypridd.

Job Purpose

As a Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be expected to operate the required tools and machinery, check the health of plants by identifying pests and/or diseases, strimming, spraying, shrub pruning and general gardening operate required tools and machinery. You must be able to demonstrate an interest in horticultural together with some horticultural skills and experience – ideally from within a similar environment.

Skills and experiences:

• Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to confidently work independently
• Spraying Certificates – NPTC PA1 & PA6 preferable, but not essential
• Experience with using petrol two-stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential
• Experience with ride on grass-cutting equipment and tractor driving is preferable but not essential
• Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers#
• Undertake any other duties that may be required within your area of your responsibility.
• A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
