Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and a commitment to maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. We have 3 properties; a beautiful Grade 2 listed wedding venue, Gatehouse and Coffee House/B&B - all within the same village.

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining formal beds and borders
  • Topiary and hedges
  • Annual plant and garden management
  • There is only a small amount of mowing as we have robot mowers
  • Leaf blowing, weed killing, strimming, pruning, weeding etc etc - everything you would expect in lovely gardens!

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of plant care, including growing techniques and pest management.
  • Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and the use of gardening tools.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.
  • Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.
