Full job description

Boutique Hotel Group owns three luxury hotels and wedding venues set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Gardener to join our team at Peckforton Castle.

Reporting to the Maintenance department, your main duties & responsibilities will be:

  • General grounds maintenance, ensuring the garden / grounds, are in good condition
  • Keeping shrubbery, flower beds and lawn in a good condition
  • Ensuring the plants pots and beds are maintained to reflect the seasons
  • Lawn care, strimming, edge cutting, weeding, planting etc
  • Keeping the car park and drive ways in a clean and tidy condition
  • Taking care of equipment and reporting faults to the Head of Maintenance

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Working knowledge of garden machinery such as lawn mowers and hedge trimmers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous gardening experience
  • Able to work well unsupervised
  • Be friendly and courteous
  • Reliable and trustworthy

Start date TBC. Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.

This role may includes weekends and bank holidays working.
