Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled part time Groundskeeper to join our team in Clitheroe for three days a week, including weekends.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on seasonal projects, contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces.

This position provides valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, supporting both personal development and professional growth.

Duties

  • Perform maintenance tasks
  • Operate mechanical equipment such power tools
  • Assist with construction projects involving groundwork or other outdoor structures such as managing furniture, outdoor spaces and greenery.
  • Use hand tools for planting, trimming, digging, and other gardening activities
  • Support general maintenance tasks including cleaning equipment, organising supplies, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Experience

  • Proven experience is highly desirable
  • Practical skills in using hand tools for gardening or construction purposes
  • Previous involvement in construction or horticultural projects will be beneficial
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labour tasks

This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in outdoor work. Candidates should be organised, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new skills within the landscape maintenance and construction sectors.
