Full-Time Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Bedale, North Yorkshire

Hours: Full-Time, 5 Days Per Week

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

We are a friendly, family-run business looking for a reliable and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. Working across two beautiful 5-star holiday parks, you will play a key role in maintaining our grounds and facilities to the highest possible standards for our owners and guests.

This is a varied outdoor role that would suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working outside, and is committed to helping us maintain the exceptional presentation and appearance of our parks.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
  • Strimming and edging
  • Hedge and shrub trimming
  • Weed control and general gardening duties
  • Delivering gas cylinders to holiday homes
  • Assisting with the movement and siting of caravans
  • External washing and cleaning of caravans
  • Keeping roads, paths and communal areas clean and tidy
  • General grounds and site maintenance
  • Ensuring both parks are maintained and presented to the highest possible standards at all times

What We’re Looking For

The successful applicant will:

  • Have previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping, park maintenance, or a similar outdoor role
  • Be physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work, including heavy lifting
  • Have a good understanding of the duties listed above
  • Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Take genuine pride in maintaining attractive, well-presented outdoor spaces
