Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Ground Worker to join our dynamic team. Working on a solar farm, ducting installation. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, supporting construction projects, and ensuring the safety and functionality of various grounds. Your energy and attention to detail will help create beautiful, safe, and well-kept environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in groundskeeping, landscaping, and construction while contributing to diverse outdoor projects.

Duties

  • Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems to support construction and landscaping projects.
  • Perform groundskeeping duties such as clearing debris, maintaining pathways, and ensuring proper drainage for safety and aesthetics.
  • Support construction activities by digging trenches, setting foundations, or assisting with site preparation under supervision.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment like lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols during all activities to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and groundskeeping techniques.
  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining power tools, gardening equipment, and machinery such as excavators.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes.
