Full job description

We are seeking a Skilled Gardener Team Leader to join our team in maintaining gardens throughout Cheshire.

Acorn Landscape Services have become one of Cheshires leading landscape and maintenance companies to design, build and maintain gardens. Ranging from small 100m2 builds to large multiple acre estates.

Our maintenance teams specialise in Estate management offering an all inclusive gardening package to our customers to include maintence throughout their full estate.

We are looking for several time served and experienced individuals to join our team to help run vans and keep standards extremely high thoughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of garden maintenance, including planting, pruning, weeding, mowing, and edging.
  • Install new garden layouts and plant beds.
  • Identify and manage pests, diseases, and irrigation issues.
  • Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure their garden requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Liasing with management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture (minimum 5 years) in similar role plus relevant qualifications and tickets.
  • Strong knowledge of plants, shrubs, and lawn care.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Able to lead a team and help staff to further their knowledge and capabilities.
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driving license is necesary.
