Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The Gardener will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our gardens and outdoor spaces, ensuring that all plants are well-cared for and thriving.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various gardening tasks.
  • Perform landscape maintenance, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
  • Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to ensure optimal growth.
  • Assist in the growing of plants, flowers, and vegetables according to seasonal requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of garden areas to identify pests or diseases and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of gardening equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to design and implement garden layouts that enhance aesthetic appeal.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in gardening or groundskeeping is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, including irrigation methods and landscape maintenance practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for nurturing plants and landscapes.
