Full job description

Hook Garden Design is looking for a reliable, hardworking person to assist with residential garden design and landscaping projects across North Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.

The work will involve both hard and soft landscaping, including:

  • Ground preparation, digging and moving materials
  • Assisting with patios, pathways, edging, fencing and general construction
  • Soil preparation, planting and turfing
  • Using basic landscaping tools and equipment
  • General site preparation and keeping work areas organised

Some previous experience in landscaping, groundworks, construction or a similar practical trade is preferred.

We're looking for somebody practical, reliable and hardworking, with good attention to detail and the ability to use their initiative. You'll be working alongside me and experienced landscaping contractors.

Pay: £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience, plus statutory holiday pay.

Working hours: Flexible, project-based work on a casual, variable-hours basis. Some projects may involve several consecutive weeks of full-time work, while quieter periods may involve just one or two days. Hours are not guaranteed.

There is potential for regular ongoing work as the business develops.

Ideally based around Retford, Worksop, or surrounding areas. Driving licence preferred.
