Ready to take ownership of crop quality and develop your career within a progressive commercial nursery?

I'm delighted to be working with a well-established and rapidly expanding UK horticultural business to recruit a Grower for their nursery operation in Warwickshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded grower to join a business that has invested heavily in its nursery infrastructure, production systems, and people. They have a commitment to producing premium-quality plants for the retail market, and they're now seeking someone who is passionate about crop production and eager to make a real impact.

Why Join?

  • Join a progressive nursery business with ambitious growth plans
  • Take ownership of crop quality and growing performance
  • Work with a wide range of ornamental crops
  • Develop your technical growing expertise within a supportive environment
  • Play a key role in producing premium-quality plants for the UK market

The Opportunity

As Grower, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality crops throughout the production cycle, applying your technical knowledge to ensure plants are grown efficiently and to the highest standards.

You'll have responsibility for managing key growing activities, including irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease control, growth regulation, and environmental monitoring.

Working closely with the wider nursery team, you'll help identify crop issues, implement solutions, and make informed decisions to optimise plant health, quality, and performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for their crops and seeing the results of their decisions firsthand.

About You

We're looking for a passionate horticultural professional with a strong interest in commercial crop production and a desire to continually improve growing standards.

You will ideally have:

  • 2-3 years' experience within a commercial nursery or growing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of irrigation, nutrition, pest and disease management, and plant growth regulation
  • Confidence making growing decisions and adapting techniques across different crop types
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to crop quality
  • A hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved in day-to-day nursery operations
  • A genuine passion for plants and horticulture

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys growing excellent crops, takes pride in plant quality, and is motivated by the opportunity to learn and develop within a successful nursery business.

What's On Offer?

  • Salary of £30,000-£38,000, depending on experience
  • 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Free parking
  • Employee discount scheme
