Full job description

We are looking for a Grounds and Estates Team Leader to join our Grounds and Estates Team and assist with the ongoing management of a suite of sites including country parks, designated landscapes and impressive public grounds and gardens.

Responsibilities:

  • Estates Maintenance – Maintenance of the estate grounds through grass cutting, path maintenance, hedge cutting, scrub clearance, fence repairs, autumn leaf clearance, weed control, shrub and tree pruning using a wide range of tools and machinery;
  • Gardens and Grounds – Maintenance of extensive gardens including formal borders, shrubs and lawns.

Qualifications:

  • Practical estate and grounds maintenance skills including the use of associated tools and machinery such as strimmers and ride-on mowers;
  • Full clean driving license;
  • Happy to work outside despite the weather conditions;
  • Excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
