x4 Santa

Job Types: Fixed Term - zero hours
Hourly rate: Competitive Salary

We provide a legendary Christmas experience where we run a wonderful and authentic grotto, which will be as magical as ever this year

Our Grotto runs throughout November and December offering an authentic grotto experience including the all-important one to one meeting with Santa.

We’re currently on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Santa, to help us to deliver our best Christmas yet. You’ll need twinkly eyes, a booming HoHoHo and a real desire to put the self in ‘Selfie’.

Our Elves and Marshals will support Santa to keep a steady hand on the reins! We have no script, we improvise with cheer and positivity, and help children and their grown-ups to enjoy their visit. So, you’ll be great with children and ideally having some experience of working with them.

Kids can be creative little things, so you’ll need to think on your feet, stay in character and make sure to fuel up to keep yourself warm and energised for the duration.

You’ll be friendly and outgoing with a smiley disposition. Acting or entertainment skills would be advantageous, and it goes without saying that you'll love all things Christmas and enjoy spreading lots of festive cheer to our guests.

This is a zero-hour fixed term position commencing 9 November 2026 (induction and training day) until 29 December 2026. Various shifts will be available (usually 4 hours but some 6 hour shifts may be available if requested). Exact shift start and finish times will vary slightly but could include working evenings up until 10pm.

Selection process will include individual and group interviews.

Santa will require a DBS check and we’ll complete this at our expense.

The role is based at our store in Hagley and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
