We are looking for an experienced lawn technician who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and genuinely cares about customer service. You’ll be representing a local, family-run business where customers value seeing friendly, familiar faces.

The Role

Working outdoors across South Sheffield, Chesterfield, and surrounding areas, you will deliver professional lawn care treatments to our established customer base.

Day-to-day duties will include:

· Applying fertilisers and lawn treatments

· Spraying selective herbicides

· Scarification and aeration work

· Lawn renovations and overseeding

· Diagnosing lawn issues and recommending suitable treatments

· Providing friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers

· Building strong customer relationships through reliable service

· Accurately completing treatment records and customer paperwork

· Maintaining company equipment and vehicle to a high standard

· Following Health & Safety procedures and safe chemical handling practices at all times

· You will present yourself professionally at all times and take pride in wearing our branded uniform and representing the business positively within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

· Delivering high-quality lawn treatments safely and efficiently

· Providing excellent customer service on every visit

· Upselling additional services and lawn renovations (bonus opportunities available)

· Generating interest and leads within your working area

· Assisting with leaflet distribution and local promotion when required

· Keeping equipment, machinery, and vehicles clean and well maintained

· Supporting the wider team and helping the business grow

Working Hours

· Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

· Monday to Friday (weekend work may be required)

· Flexibility required during busy periods and adverse weather conditions

Requirements

Essential

· Full UK driving licence

· Previous experience in lawn care, gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance

· PA1 / PA6 spraying licence

· Friendly and professional attitude

· Strong customer service skills

· Reliable, self-motivated, and organised

· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

· Physically fit and capable of manual work

Desirable

· Sales or upselling experience
