Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic person for the kitchen garden to mainly focus on vegetable and cut flower production, managing herbaceous borders and propagation
Duties
- Cultivate and maintain various types of plants, flowers, and shrubs to enhance garden aesthetics.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure a tidy appearance.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks.
- Irrigate gardens effectively, ensuring that all plants receive adequate water without over-saturation.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects as required.
Experience
- Proven experience in gardening essential; a willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with growing techniques for various plants, including vegtables and cut flowers.
- Experience using power tools such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, and other gardening equipment is advantageous.
- A strong attention to detail and an appreciation for the aesthetics of garden design are essential traits for success in this role.
