Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our gardens and grounds. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong knowledge of plants, landscaping techniques, and the ability to operate both power and hand tools. Duties: - Plant, cultivate, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants - Prune and trim trees and hedges to maintain their shape and health - Weed and mulch garden beds to prevent weed growth and improve soil quality - Irrigate plants as needed to ensure proper hydration - Monitor plant health and identify any signs of disease or pest infestation - Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, edging borders, and raking leaves - Use power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain the grounds - Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and shears for various gardening tasks - Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute landscaping projects - Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening equipment and storage areas Requirements: - Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance - Strong knowledge of plants, flowers, trees, and gardening techniques - Proficiency in operating power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers - Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and shears - Ability to identify common plant diseases, pests, and appropriate treatment methods - Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting heavy objects, and working outdoors in various weather conditions - Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise pruning, planting, and maintenance techniques Join our team as a Gardener and contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients. Pay: £12.50-£20.00 per hour
