Plant Manager

Location: Le Friquet Garden Centre, Guernsey
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 + relocation package

Can you relocate to Guernsey? We’re looking for an experienced Plant Manager, or a strong Section Leader/Supervisor ready to take the next step, to join our team at Le Friquet Garden Centre.

About the Role

As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Hardy and Seasonal Plant departments. You’ll lead the team, manage stock and displays, maintain high plant standards and make sure the department is performing commercially.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading, supporting and developing the plant team
• Managing stock levels, ordering and availability
• Maintaining high standards of plant care and presentation
• Creating attractive and commercially strong displays
• Monitoring sales and taking action to improve performance
• Managing department standards and ensuring an excellent customer experience
• Working closely with the wider garden centre management team

About You

You’ll ideally have experience working in a garden centre, with either management or supervisory experience within a plant department.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has good horticultural and plant knowledge
• Is confident leading and developing a team
• Has a strong commercial awareness
• Takes pride in standards and presentation
• Is comfortable working in a busy retail environment
• Enjoys working with customers
• Is willing to relocate to Guernsey and commit to living and working on the island for at least 3 years

Relocation Package

• £45,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience
