Hand to Earth landscapes the most highly rated garden and landscape company in the area are seeking a experienced garden maintenance person to join our friendly team.

We look after mostly private high end gardens and grounds in the countryside but we have everything in between from small gardens where we spent a couple of hours to example children's nurseries and pub gardens.

Based in Sutton veny, Warminster

You will be required to drive to our yard each morning.

We are looking for full time or part time but a minimum of 3 days a week if part time.

We are looking for a skilled and passionate gardener to join our friendly team to maintain our client's gardens and grounds to the highest standards.

Job Description: To carry out garden maintenance, ground maintenance tasks and soft landscaping tasks. Provide guidance to new members Follow work policy Planting and Cultivating: Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, vegetables, and other plants; ensuring they are well-maintained and healthy. Pruning and Trimming: Regularly pruning and trimming plants and trees to promote growth, remove dead branches, and maintain an aesthetically pleasing shape. Watering: Ensuring that plants receive adequate water. Soil Management: Preparing and improving soil for planting by adding compost or fertilizers and ensuring proper drainage. Weeding: Removing weeds to prevent competition with plants for nutrients and water. Pest and Disease Control: Monitoring plants for signs of pests or diseases and applying appropriate treatments or natural remedies. Landscape Design: Helping with the design and layout of gardens, considering factors like plant selection, colors, and seasonal effects. Lawn Care: Mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and edging lawns to keep them neat and healthy. Garden Maintenance: General upkeep of garden spaces, including cleaning up debris, maintaining garden structures, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the area. Seasonal Tasks: Performing seasonal duties such as planting spring bulbs, preparing gardens for winter, and seasonal planting of flowers or vegetables. Equipment Maintenance: Using and maintaining gardening tools and equipment, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems. Client Interaction: Communicating with clients to discuss garden design, preferences, and care needs.

Qualifications:

Previous gardening or landscaping experience preferred.
Knowledge of plant types, garden maintenance or landscaping.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.

Full driving licence required

Salary is dependant on experience. We offer Paye and self employed positions.
