About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Grounds & Garden Maintenance Operative to maintain a client’s outdoor areas in Lennox Town / Milton of Campsie. The role covers routine gardening, seasonal work, winter tasks, and general upkeep of the grounds.

Although based at the main client site, you may occasionally be required to support work at other locations when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grass cutting, strimming and edging
  • Hedge trimming and shrub maintenance
  • Weeding, planting and seasonal bedding
  • Leaf clearing and general tidying
  • Litter picking and waste removal
  • Path, border and hardstanding maintenance
  • Winter tasks: gritting, snow clearing, storm debris removal
  • Carrying out other reasonable tasks as required
  • Safe use of client‑provided equipment

Requirements

  • Age 21+
  • Experience in gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance
  • Able to operate lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge cutters etc.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
  • Driving licence and transport essential
