SENIOR HORTICULTURAL CO-ORDINATOR
Calling all Plant Enthusiasts, Garden Whisperers and Detail Detectives!
If you see gardens not just as they are, but as they could be—if you can spot when a border needs lifting, a shrub needs shaping, or a space needs a fresh touch—then we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just work in gardens, but understands them. Someone who sees the beauty in a neglected hedge, the potential in a tired flower bed, and the rhythm of the seasons in every space they touch.
This is your chance to bring your knowledge, creativity, and expertise to a company that values your insight. You’ll be at the heart of the gardens we manage, ensuring they thrive, evolve, and remain places of true beauty.
What’s in it for you?
- Make an impact – Shape and nurture stunning green spaces while guiding teams to bring out their best.
- Stay hands-on – A mix of on-site work and office-based coordination, so you’re never far from the plants you love.
- Grow your career – We invest in your development through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and training.
- Enjoy the perks – From extra holiday each year to private healthcare, life insurance, and staff away days, we believe in looking after our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
✔ Getting the teams set and off for their day.
✔ Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
✔ Scheduling and overseeing teams, ensuring they have everything they need to deliver excellence.
✔ Taking responsibility for health & safety – staff, equipment, and processes.
✔ Working closely with our teams on the ground, because great gardens need great people.
What You Bring to the Table
· Plant expertise – You know your botanical names, their care needs, and how to keep them thriving.
· Pest & disease knowledge – You can spot issues and know how to treat them (organically or chemically).
· Organised & methodical – You can manage multiple sites and keep everything running smoothly.
· Strong communicator – Whether guiding teams or advising clients, you make things clear.
· Tech-savvy – Confident with Microsoft Word & Excel for planning and reporting.
· Attention to detail – You notice what others don’t and know how to make a garden sing.
The Extras That Make a Difference
· Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year
· Full-time & part-time applicants considered
· Location: Cranleigh GU6 (commute or relocate before starting)
· Monday - Friday schedule
· Free on-site parking
Perks & Benefits
✔ Nest Pension
✔ Life Assurance – 4x annual salary
✔ Private healthcare (cashback for dentist, opticians, physio & more)
✔ Cycle to Work & Tech Scheme (Currys & Ikea)
✔ Extra holiday (after 3 years accrue an extra day up to 5 days)
✔ 2-3 staff away days per year
✔ A birthday treat – because we like to celebrate our people!
