Food & Beverage Assistant (Evening Shifts)
DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham Gateway Hotel
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 20–40 hours per week, primarily on evening shifts.
As a Food & Beverage Assistant, you will play an important role in delivering excellent service to our guests within our hotel bar and food service areas. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guests receive outstanding hospitality throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests and providing professional, friendly service.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serving beverages and food within the bar and lounge areas.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the bar and guest areas.
- Clearing and resetting tables.
- Assisting with the preparation and setup of service areas.
- Handling guest enquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Following all food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Working as part of a team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What We're Looking For:
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- A professional and well-presented approach.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Previous experience in hospitality, bar work, or food service is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
