Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group are looking for a Caretaker to join our Total Facilities Management team, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of a school environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the school buildings and grounds remain safe, secure, compliant, and well-maintained, carrying out a range of caretaking, maintenance, security and repair duties. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach, strong practical skills, and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently, helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

They will possess a broad range of practical skills, including general DIY, minor repairs, and basic maintenance activities. You will be proactive, customer-focused, and capable of identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a flexible approach to work are essential. A willingness to learn new skills and undertake training to support your development is also important.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, working across three school sites in Slough. The position operates on a shift basis, with working hours of either 06:30am to 2:30pm or 10:30am to 6:30pm. As this role involves working within a school environment, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
