About the Role

We are looking for an Estate Planning & Protection Adviser to join our team in Stafford. You will help clients plan for their future, mainly through wills and estate planning, alongside life insurance and critical illness cover.

Previous experience in financial services is not required, as full training is provided. Every client you meet has booked their appointment and knows what it is about, so there is no cold calling. As a result, around 80% of our appointments convert.

As an Estate Planning & Protection Adviser, you will be responsible for:

· Meeting clients at pre-booked appointments

· Carrying out a thorough fact-find to understand each client's circumstances

· Providing advice on wills and estate planning

· Arranging life insurance and critical illness cover suited to each client's needs

· Keeping accurate and detailed records of client information

· Building long-term relationships with clients and maintaining a high standard of service

Experience

· Previous financial services experience is not required

· At least one year of sales experience is preferred, but not essential

What Will Make You Successful Here

· A strong work ethic and a genuine drive to succeed

· Excellent organisation and careful record-keeping

· A professional manner with every client

· A real interest in learning and developing your knowledge

· The ability to build trust and rapport with clients

· A desire to build a long-term career as a trusted adviser

This Role Would Not Suit

· Anyone looking for a daytime-only role, as 3–4 evenings per week are required

· Anyone uncomfortable with earnings that are partly based on performance

· Anyone unwilling to commit to our training programme and established process

· Anyone who does not enjoy detailed administration and record-keeping

Compensation and Benefits

· Basic salary: £30,000 (£28,000 during the six-month training and probation period)

· Earning potential of up to £90,000, based on performance and qualifications

· Commission paid on top of basic salary

· Company pension scheme

· Employee discount

· Free on-site parking

· Bi-monthly company funded team events

Full details of the commission structure will be discussed at interview.

Training and Development

· An intensive two-month training programme in estate planning and protection

· A six-month probation period, with support throughout

· Continued support and development once your training is complete

· The opportunity to work towards further qualifications with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)
