Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This role involves performing various manual tasks that require physical stamina and practical skills, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

The role:

As the site skilled Labourer you will be responsible for assisting with site clearance, moving materials, cleaning various areas including finished houses for handover and assisting traders where needed.

A strong all-rounder, that's easily self-motivated and works great within a team, you will preferably have broad experience for a minimum of 5 years in the following areas:

• Masonry works
• Groundworks
• Drainage
• Concreting
• Carry out general labouring tasks on-site, ensuring all work is completed to high standards.
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing support where necessary.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team goals.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering to site

About you:

• Previous experience in a labouring role (min 5 years).
• Ability to operate basic hand tools and machinery safely.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual handling tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities as required.
• Arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
• Full Driving license

Sites can be in various locations where public transport is limited, therefore, it is necessary to have your own transport.

Pay: £14.70-£15.57 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
